October 30, 2020

Dear Students,

We have reached the end of October, and though it may be hard to believe, spring semester is right around the corner. Advance registration for the Spring 2021 semester will begin in mid-November.

With our eyes to what’s next, today UF will release the Spring 2021 schedule of courses to assist you in preparing for advance registration. The classes offered will include a similar number of in-person class sections as was offered in Spring 2020. You should have already received the “Registration Preparation” email providing you information on how to prepare for registration and learn when you may register. Please pay particular attention to your graduation requirements, consult with your academic advisor and take action to remove any holds that may prevent you from registering.

UF classrooms are being enhanced with HyFlex technologies like additional screens, cameras, digital whiteboards, and microphones to create a more engaging classroom environment for students both in the classroom and at a distance. These technologies will assist in enhancing UF’s commitment to its educational mission.

We are so proud that you are pursuing your educational goals at the University of Florida, our nation’s 6th ranked public institution. Please know that we are here to help you through your journey and that your health and safety remain our top priority.

Best wishes for a successful spring term. Be safe, be well, and as always – Go Gators!

D’Andra Mull, Vice President for Student Affairs
Zina Evans, Vice President for Enrollment Management
